About
Attorney Adam Finnegan is a town of Lee native. Attorney Finnegan attended Westfield State University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science in 2019. After graduating from Westfield State University, he attended Western New England University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2022. After passing the bar exam on his first attempt, he was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in November 2022.
During his law school career Adam worked at Hochberg Law Offices, P.C., currently known as Martin, Hochberg, and Cianflone, PLLP. He has interned at the City of Springfield Law Department in the Legal Services division. Adam has also been active in the community having provided pro bono representation to indigent defendants in consumer debt matters through Western New England’s Consumer Debt Initiative.
After being admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Adam began his practice, Finnegan Law Firm. Adam is also a member of both the Berkshire County Bar Advocates and Franklin County Bar Advocates.
Attorney Finnegan specializes in criminal defense and has a history of successfully defending his clients. Shortly after beginning his career, he had his first jury trial at age 26 resulting in an acquittal on all charges. He has also successfully litigated several motions to dismiss and motions to suppress evidence obtained from illegal searches.
While he does specialize in criminal defense, Attorney Finnegan has also litigated various types of civil cases ranging from tenant evictions to chapter 93A actions for unfair and deceptive trade practices. Whatever your legal issue is, Attorney Finnegan is ready to help.
